Oooookay, maybe it's time to come out of my self-imposed (and much loved) quasi-hermit life, and interact a bit more. So, welcome to my first blog post. Perhaps I'll answer unasked - or asked - questions, or just discuss what makes me tick.
What does make me tick? What inspires and motivates me? Anything. Everything. Nothing...? Honestly, I don't always know where my inspirations come from. Ideas pop into my head, and yes, I quite literally slam awake at 2am (more often than I expect) with sometimes brilliant ideas. And sometimes in the light of day, not so brilliant.
I go for daily walks, and just being outside, in nature, is inspiring in itself. I'm pretty sure that you can see my love of animals and nature in the work I create. Thanks to a suggestion from my daughter, I've begun a small series featuring threatened & endangered wildlife. A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Network, a non-profit, very reputable organization based out of San Francisco.
